“I believe having the right attitude paves the road to success.”  Cecilia Sim, who has been a leading stewardess with Singapore Airlines for the past 15 years and earned a reputation for service excellence international, lives this belief.  Cecilia’s work ethic combined with a focused drive have built a career that is strong in knowledge, experience and expertise in first aid assistance and makes ‘in flight’ announcements. She is also a trainer with Singapore Airlines Grooming Academy where she frequently conducts grooming and make-up sessions for flight attendants and ground staff. By completing the Image Flair Academy of Modern Etiquette Certification on Elite Certified Etiquette Professional © Coach™ , an intensive training program led by Eunice Tan, Founder and offered exclusively through Image Flair Academy of Modern Etiquette in Singapore and its international Partner Civility Experts Worldwide, Cecilia joined an elite group of highly-trained,  etiquette professional.

In addition to her work with SIA, Cecilia has experience working in public relations as a consultant with a local reputable public relations and event company that deals with luxury fashion houses. Her client list has included Tod’s, Celine, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Manolo Blahnik and Hogan.  The scope of her work spans oversight of the press rack, draft press releases and liaise with fashion stylists and editors for magazine fashion spreads.  Cecilia’s also carried out action plans leading to an event or collection launch including model casting, venue sourcing, budgeting and F&B.  Cecilia has experience tabulating monthly editorial report data and maintain good relationships with the media to acquire maximum media coverage and support. Armed with 8 years of experience in the fashion industry, Cecilia is skilled in the area of image and style, empowering and transforming individuals to look and feel their personal best. She is also a Singapore Airlines Icon Girl.

Cecilia has, since 1991, earned her GCE A-level, Diploma in Professional Make-up, LCCI Level 2 Written English for Business, LPM Manage Change and Cultivation of Workplace Relationships.  She developed skills to coach service teams and individuals, interpret the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification Framework and apply Adult Learning Principles and Code of Ethics for Training.
